Large redware pottery seated figure holding a bowl on her right shoulder. Left hand resting on her raised knee. Incised hairdo and wearing a nose ring. Exposed backbone and white painted ribs. Faded black resist geometric decoration on her body and face, with white painted highlights. Repaired from approximately four original pieces with restoration over the breaklines. A larger than normal example. |
