He has a beautifully sculpted face with wavy hair, a topknot (usnisa), an urna between his eyebrows, lidded almond-shaped eyes, a pensive mouth with full lower lip, rounded chin, neck creases and elongated earlobes. He is completely draped in a long-sleeved robe that falls in u-shaped folds over his right breast and is tucked neatly under his legs, with a u-shaped section falling over the front of the platform in the center. An undecorated aureole behind the Buddhas head. Some remaining flesh tone pigment on the surface. Loss to upper portion and right side of halo and chips on thumbs and tip of nose, otherwise intact. Custom metal base. A lovely example.
