Description: Massive anthropomorphic mask with extended articulated jaws of a crocodile, carved with interlocking teeth and animal fur lining edges of upper and lower jaws. The high crested head with conical node, multiple nail inserts, and fetish material; projecting nose below flanked by metal eye discs and metal hoops in semicircular outlined ears. Black layered patina.
Provenance: Private NJ collection, ex. Allan Stone Collection, acquired 1960s - 1980s.
