Description: Homespun wool woven blanket having a large chevron in the center with a bold geometric pattern border and various geometric devices. Excellent cond. Two Grey Hills is located on the east side of the Chuska Mountains in the New Mexico portion of the Navajo reservation. The weavers have traditionally preferred to use natural homespun native wool in shades of black, grey, beige and cream.
Provenance: Private Florida collection, ex. Sotheby’s, NYC., 2002 or 2003.
