Description: Shallow circular bowl with raised disc on base with concentric engraved pattern of a frog motif. The sides adorned with a tortoise head or spirit face having pointed relief rim and incised eyes and raised border on opposing side. Ages cracks on the rim. Matte brown patina, smooth and burnished on interior.
Provenance: Estate of Alan Naftalis, sold for the benefit of The Jewish Theological Seminary.
