Description: Both deep conical bowls for sago, the slightly larger bowl with zoomorphic faces and clan patterns, and two lug handles from Yangoru area. Red-brown patina. Minor nick on rim. Other with deeply engraved concentric pattern enclosing some feather motifs; tan patina.
Provenance: Estate of Alan Naftalis acquired from Michael Hamson and Art of the South Seas in 2009 and 2012, sold for the benefit of The Jewish Theological Seminary.
