Description: Buff-brown pottery two piece warrior / dignitary, having a removable head lid, wearing a large zoomorphic feathered headdress and large disc ear ornaments. Expressive facial features, open toothy mouth. Wearing a large decorated loincloth, secured with a wide fancy belt, and holding a weapon in his left hand. Painted black white and red highlights. Scattered mineral deposits on the surface. Missing upper tip of weapon, lower blade of weapon and both arms reattached, a large original piece reattached in the back of the urn, several feathers on the left side of headdress restored. An impressive example.
