Description: Blackware pottery globular body covered with interlocking curves having a narrow, tall undecorated neck. The dark gray surface was probably achieved through the use of an oxygen-reduced firing technique. Most Rhodes Incised vessels come from Arkansas. Intact, exc. cond. A nice example.
Provenance: Private east coast collection, acquired in 1988, ex. William E. Channing, Santa Fe, NM.
