Polychrome decorated pottery cylinder vase having a rattle ball lower compartment, wide center band beautifully painted with five seated chiefs, all wearing elaborate feathered headdresses and ceremonial costumes. Upper and lower stylized glyph bands. Scattered mineral deposits on the surface. Two very minor rim flakes, otherwise intact, exc. cond. A beautiful example. |
