Carved gray volcanic stone miniature metate of rectangular form standing on four short legs. Carved geometric stepped decoration at one end, rimmed border. Together with a miniature mano of stepped geometric form, large openwork center, double ear type finial with incised geometric decoration. Both are intact, exc. cond. Rare miniature examples. |
