| Description: |
Five various carved shell necklace pendants, four profile seated human figures and one frontal view reclining figure with his legs crossed at the ankles, carved and incised details, with remaining traces of red pigment highlights. The four profile examples have their original inset mother-of-pearl eyes. Scattered mineral deposits on the surface and general surface weathering, each has a drilled suspension hole. All are intact. Modern strung together on a black cord necklace with a silver claw type clasp. Very nice examples. |
