Red-brown pottery portrait head vessel having a stirrup type spout. Depicted with strong facial features, large open eyes, highlighted with white pigment, round face with a slightly downturned mouth, long finely striated sideburns and c-shape ears. Small probe hole in the center of the base. Minor spout rim roughness. Spout reattached, with restoration over the break lines, otherwise intact, overall exc. cond. |
