Fine cast solid copper male seated figure with legs crossed and arms held in a forward position, holding a spiny spondylus shell. Wearing a wide headband and having a multistrand long hairdo. Belted loincloth with a front panel having a hook tail type element, suspension loop type nose. Rich brown-black surface patina with scattered areas of blue-green. Intact, exc. cond. A rare and beautiful example. |
