Abstract antelope, an agricultural fertility headdress, with slender crescent shaped head, hollowed ears having perforated rims, metal eye tacks, long curved horns projecting horizontally, and metal strips attaching head to body. The body set at an angle evoking leaping torso is carved with short painted tail and only the indication of back legs. Dark brown patina with encrusted deposits. Minor wear on tip of snout. Custom base. |
