Polychrome decorated standing warrior holding a large square shield in front and wearing a helmet having a very large central crest and projecting disc horns. Overall scattered areas of encrustation and surface deposits. Upper left corner of the shield and a 1/4” chip on the bottom edge of the shield are restored, some scattered wear to the painted decoration. A rare type. |
