Hollow pottery crawling baby with arms spread in a wide stance, having excellent quality, expressive facial features, and incised hairdo with triangular vents. Some remaining red pigment highlights to his hair, lips, fingers and bottoms of his feet. Scattered mineral deposits on the surface. Body repaired from approximately fifteen original pieces with breaklines visible, some minor loss along a few of the breaklines, which is typical for this type. A nice example. |
