Hollow cast bronze partial figure, probably depicting a king holding a sword in his left hand. Wearing a high dome ribbed helmet, drapery and pleated garments with a belt around his waist. Long tightly curled hairdo and beard. Cleaned to reveal details, retains some scattered blue-green surface patina on a rich brown surface. Missing lower portion of figure and has a small hole in the neck. A nicely detailed example. |
