| Description: |
Natural buff-brown solid pottery standing figure of semi-abstract form, depicted with a flat rectangular, elongated body and wide flat angular head. Large upturned nose having an applied multi-ring decoration. Simple incised eyes and mouth, pierced ears. Painted rectangular orange-brown facial decoration and a striped pattern on the body. Scattered mineral deposits on the surface. Repaired break in the lower body and legs reattached, with restoration over the breaklines, left toes reattached, otherwise intact. A rare type. |
