Description: |
Redware pottery mask depicted with a wide open mouth. Small center hair tuff having incised striated details. Small perforated c-shape ears, large openwork eyes and arched brows. Two perforations in the upper rim for attachment. Scattered areas of encrustation and mineral deposits. Minor stable hairline in rim and a few minor restored left eye rim and lip chips, otherwise intact, overall exc. cond. A nice example. |
