Fine and large standing ball player figure having a fancy noded hairdo. Wearing a heavy belted loincloth. Exceptional refined facial features, holding a trumpet to his lips. Some remaining red and white decorative pigment. Repaired from five original pieces with some breaklines slightly visible. Missing right arm and some minor losses to the headdress. A rare and beautiful example. Old metal base. |
