Description: |
Fine solid buff-brown pottery seated female figure, legs crossed, resting both hands on her knees. Wearing a multi ball belted loincloth. Refined facial features and having an elaborate multi tail hairdo. Fancy linear decorative elements from shoulders down her back. Back of arms, back and lower legs painted with red pigment. Head, right arm and left lower leg reattached with breaklines visible, otherwise overall exc. cond. Nicest possible and very beautiful example. |
