Fine buff color pottery face mask having extremely expressive facial features, openwork eyes with relief arched brows, open toothy mouth with protruding tongue. Perforated ears and a central hair tuft. Painted red-orange pigment striped facial decoration. Three perforations along the top rim for attachment. Intact, exc. cond. A museum quality example. |
