Description: |
Brown pottery round face mask having a wide flange outer border, central high relief face with openwork eyes, mouth with two teeth, and strong arched brows. Red-brown and ochre painted highlights on the face. Three perforations in the upper border for attachment. Scattered mineral deposits on the surface. Repaired from four original pieces, with some breaklines slightly visible. A rare type. |
