Two different buff color pottery standing female figures. The smaller example is depicted with bulbous wide hips and outstretched arms, fancy applied hairdo. Painted decorative stripes on body, face and hairdo highlighted with red-orange and ocher pigment. Intact. Together with a female having wide hips and arms held away from her body, beautifully rendered facial features, highlighted with red and ocher painted pigment. Intact. Both are excellent examples. |
