Large boldly carved figure of a female seated with two diminutive figures on each knee, identically carved, with one hand on each of the mothers projecting breasts. She bears a large head with bulging eyes, long linear nose, and pursed lips with red and white painted detail. Her body is adorned with tiny rows of beads, remnants of red fabric loincloth, and traces of dot pattern in blue, red, and white, and blue pigment on breasts. Left foot lost. Rare. |
