Description: |
Carved deep blue-green jadeite standing male figure in transformation. Depicted with an elongated squared head, classic Olmec facial features, full bow-shape lips, partially open mouth, perforated nostrils, long rectangular ears. String cut with central rib on top of his head. Overall scattered areas of encrusted surface deposits. missing left ankle and foot, repaired break through the waist, breakline visible, otherwise intact. A beautiful example. |
