Solid buff pottery seated female figure in an impossible position with legs folded completely behind her and crossed at the ankles. She drinks from a small bowl. Double impressed eyes, relief nose and puckered, drinking mouth. Applique eye brows and turban headdress. Left arm reattached at shoulder, bowl is a restoration. A rare, possibly unique example. |
