Description: |
Buff color pottery seated mother holding her child strapped on a cradleboard. Both are wearing large headdresses and disc ear ornaments. Multicolor painted highlights and details. Scattered mineral deposits on the surface. Repaired break across the mother’s waist and she is missing her left forearm and two large circular elements from her headdress. Child’s right foot reattached. A rare type. |
