Description: |
Large two-tone redware pottery seated shaman figure, holding both hands on his knees. Depicted with simple facial features, wearing an incised headband with chin strap, wrapped around a central shaman’s horn, incised loincloth, all highlighted in red. Scattered mineral deposits on the surface. Intact, exc. cond. A nice large size example. |
