Description: |
Two-tone redware pottery triple trophy head vessel having a central neck with a wide flared lip. Relief facial features, all depicted wearing disc ear ornaments. Overall scattered areas of strong mineral deposits. Two minor restored lip rim chips, otherwise intact, exc. cond. A very rare type. |

Private New England collection, acquired from Anthropos Gallery, CA. Ex. Portillo collection, acquired 1960’s then by descent to his daughter in 2000. Acquired by A. Bermudez in 2016, and sold to Anthropos Gallery in 2020, with a copy of bill of sale from A. Bermudez. |
