Description: |
Black on white painted pottery pitcher having an applied handle, tapered bulbous body and wide slightly tapered neck. Body decorated with five large “tree” type elements on a diagonal linear hatched ground, painted reddish-brown and black. Neck decorated with four registers of lighting bolt elements. Upper neck rim partially restored, otherwise intact. An impressive example. |
