Description: |
Two different polychrome decorated pottery examples, including a crouching frog vessel, having a bulbous body and relief details, polychrome floral painted decoration. Some general scattered paint wear, otherwise intact. Together with a small baluster form pedestal vase, decorated in two large rectangular registers depicting a semiabstract profile chief’s head with arms and pointed fingers, geometric upper band. General wear to the painted surface, piece reattached in the pedestal, two small rim chips and two long stable hair lines from the rim. |
