Pottery figural vessel depicting a shaman in transformation to a lizard, wearing large tubular ear ornaments, and a bird headdress. Hands clasped as a servant to Ai-Apec.
His face has already completed the transformation and has a long lizard tail. Painted red-brown, orange-tan and white. Scattered mineral deposits on the surface. Spout repaired and reattached, body repaired from a few large original pieces with restoration over the break lines. A rare type. |
