Description: Two different knapped flint tools, including a scraper and a celt. The scraper has an overall deep brown surface patina. Intact, exc. cond. Old penned label affixed: 29. Together with a celt, having a creamy-brown surface patina. Intact, exc. cond. Old penned label affixed: 24.
Provenance: Ex. collection Carlo Gay, purchased from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, 1950s and 1960s. Found in the 20th century by Metropolitan expeditions and subsequently sold from the museum shop. Ex. Robin Oliver Gay, 11/12/98.
