Description: |
Solid pottery standing female figure depicted with full wide hips and buttocks, short arms held away from her body and striated tufted hairdo. Expressive facial features with wide narrow eyes. Wearing small disc ear ornaments. Some remaining white slip surface pigment and traces of red painted highlights. Ancient chip on left heel, otherwise intact, exc. cond. Old custom lucite base. |
