Large buff terracotta incensario chimney with relief features of the gruesome faced rain god, Tlaloc. Two large funneled eyes protrude, hooked nose, wide-toothy grin and heavy eyebrows. A relief bat is between and there are applied designs as filler on most of the surface. Repaired from approximately eight large original pieces with some areas of restoration, several smaller repairs with some visible break lines. |
