Cast bronze finger ring type handle originally from a vessel or oil lamp, depicting a nicely detailed human hand, with a rear thumb rest, and perforated lug at the front of the ring, which originally was connected to a chain connected to a cover. Overall gray black surface patina with scattered areas of encrustation. Intact. Custom metal base. |
