Description: |
Two different examples including a miniature skyphos, possibly Corinthian, having mauve and black painted bands and an upper double zigzag rim band. Overall lightly encrusted surface patina. Handles reattached, otherwise intact. Together with a finely carved bone tapered cylindrical container, decorated with three triple bands of incised decoration, separately carved disc bottom, also having a multibanded decoration. Excellent mottled tan-brown surface patina. Missing it’s fitted cover, otherwise intact. |
