Twenty-five plaster seal impressions, depicting various ancient scenes and portraits, each hand numbered on the outer edge. Extremely fine detail work; all are intact. Twenty-seven are contained in the original double sided book, missing both covers. The book is missing both covers and has areas of cover loss to the binding. Binding marked “Musei 6”. Together with five additional loose plaster impressions, from a different book of the same series. Finally, a framed group of seven reproduction, modern plaster impressions in a gilt frame. |
