| Description: |
Two different pottery figures, including a large standing female figure having pendulous breasts and a swollen stomach, probably depicting pregnancy. Wearing a simple nose ring, large disc ear spools, wide belt, arm bands and a crescent pendant necklace. Some remaining white surface pigment. Missing most of her right leg and right hand, losses to her arm bands otherwise intact. Custom metal base. Together with a solid pottery seated figure, holding both hands on his knees, legs folded in front. Repaired from approximately eight original pieces with restoration over the break lines, nose and right foot restored. |
