Description: |
Natural salmon-buff color molded pottery dignitary sitting on a flanged stool, holding a bowl in his left hand and a knife in the other, wearing a wide collar necklace, elaborate tassel type ear ornaments, head band with a center crest and long paneled loincloth. Some remaining red and ocher pigment highlights. Overall strong root and mineral deposits. Both legs reattached, otherwise intact, exc. cond. A very nice example. |
