Description: |
Fine buff-salmon color molded pottery dancing shaman figure, wearing an elaborated large dome helmet with two long danglers on the reverse and three spool-form elements on the top center of his helmet in descending graduated sizes. Wearing long dangler earrings and a mask, all highlighted in blue, ocher and white pigment. Wearing a large pendant necklace, long paneled loincloth, arm and ankle bracelets. Integral rectangular slab base. Overall scattered surface deposits. Intact, exc. cond. A top quality, beautiful example. |
