Description: |
Large molded sheet silver ceremonial beaker, depicting a stylized human head with large almond shape eyes and projecting angular nose, wearing a wide beaded headband wide upper geometric decorated band below the rim. A large stepped fish-like triangular-diamond element on the reverse, all decorative elements are in low relief. A couple of professionally repaired hair lines in the upper front of the vessel and an area of the headband beads are restored, otherwise overall exc. cond. A very nice example. |
