Description: |
Orangeware pottery libation vessel, having a tall tapered pedestal with rows of openwork circular decoration, and having a deep bowl with a loop handle and opposing wide u-shape pour spout. Faintly decorated on the exterior with a crosshatched pattern. Overall scattered areas of strong calcified surface deposits. Bowl repaired from five large original pieces with restoration over the break lines. A rare type. |
