Description: Fine double loop gold link chain having its original gold hook closure decorated with a shield shape disc ornament having a double row of granulated ball decoration. Additionally, there is a small disc dangler attached to the chain, decorated in relief with a male and female bust, floral element on the reverse. Intact, exc. cond. A beautiful, high quality example.
Provenance: Fleischman collection, NYC. Acquired 1988 as a gift. To family by descent. Ex. Collection: Count Henri de Clercq-Boisgelin, Ambassador to Syria, 1840’s.
