Description: |
Large well potted vessel having a bulbous shoulder, lower tapered body and two opposing applied loop handles below the midsection. Upper portion of vessel painted with double leaf and net decoration. Wide neck with a painted zigzag decoration, stylized starburst border on the interior rim. All painted in black on a burnished orange ground. Flared rim repaired from approximately six pieces with restoration over the break lines, A beautiful and impressive example. |
