Tall carved wood standing Buddha holding his hands in a peace mudra. Standing on an integral double lotus petal rectangular platform base. Wearing a very elaborate headdress and crown with a multi-ball plume, wide multi-strand beaded collar type necklace. Overall painted red-brown ground with remaining gilded surface. One finger reattached and a few original pieces in the headdress flames reattached, otherwise overall exc. cond. |
