| Description: |
Fine medium size redware pottery dog having an open toothy mouth, perked ears and upcurled tail. Wide plump belly with a large painted black spot on both sides, and a black collar around his neck. Overall scattered strong mineral deposits. Two faded painted gray stripes on the top of his head. Tiny loss to the tip of his right ear, and a very minor surface flake above his right eye. Tail and right rear leg cleanly reattached, otherwise intact, overall exc. cond. A very nice example. |
