Carved red-brown jasper stone pendant depicting the head of a dignitary, with deeply carved eyes, broad nose with large nostrils, wide mouth with parted lips. Biconical drilled suspension holes through his temples and pierced ears. A few in-manufacture edge flakes, otherwise intact, exc. cond. A beautiful example. |
