Description: |
Two solid pottery standing figures including a Tlatilco female figure depicted with wide hips and head facing slightly downwards. Fine classic facial features and finely striated hairdo having a central ponytail pulled forward. Some remaining traces of ocher surface pigment. Head and legs reattached, left arm restored. Together with a Tlapacoya standing figure having strong classic facial features, wearing a headdress. A few remaining traces of cream surface pigment. Missing both arms and having a repaired break through the waist. Custom metal bases. |
